On July 11, 2006, the monastery became an independent Priory. Already, the monks are involved in work in different areas such as Poultry, Farm, Garden, Teaching, Counselling, Bakery, Herbal Medicine and Pastoral Ministries. They also have a guest house that caters for the spiritual well-being of people from all walks of life.

As the monastery continues to grow, there is need to train more monks in different disciplines such as Philosophy, Theology, Agriculture, Engineering, Laboratory Science, Spirituality, Psychology, Arts and Crafts etc.

What You Can Do

It costs approximately N500, 000 (five hundred thousand) Per year to train a monk in Nigeria and $4,500 (fifteen thousand) US dollars overseas. With a monthly contribution of N5,000, more or less (nothing is too small), you can make a big difference. Or you may wish to single-handedly sponsor a monk for a whole year or for the duration of his studies (usually three to four years).
